Lauren is a fully licensed professional counselor and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Biola University in 2008 and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary in 2011.

 

Originally a California girl at heart, Lauren has spent her career supporting children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples across residential treatment, school-based, in-home, medical, and outpatient clinical settings.

Lauren is especially passionate about working with young adults, adults, and couples navigating marital concerns, life transitions, anxiety, identity development, relationship challenges, trauma, ADHD, OCD, grief and loss, attachment concerns, sensory issues, and family dynamics. She utilizes a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy that focuses on the connection between the mind, body, and spirit.

Lauren is certified in EMDR, Premarital Counseling, and Advanced Mindfulness, and she integrates these approaches to help clients reconnect parts of themselves that may feel disconnected through stress, trauma, or life experiences.

Lauren believes that people are emotional, physical, and spiritual beings, and that true healing happens when each aspect of the self is given attention and care. Her work emphasizes mind-body awareness, emotional connection, and helping clients move toward lasting healing and authentic living. She was inspired to become a therapist after a high school psychology teacher encouraged students to explore who they truly were, sparking Lauren’s desire to help others recognize that they are deeply loved, accepted, and valuable beyond measure.

With warmth, compassion, and a deep belief in personal growth, Lauren strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients can better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
