Krystal Evola, LMSW

Krystal is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker who provides individual therapy for children, adults, and families in the Macomb, MI area. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Oakland University in 2007 and her Master of Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2023.

Krystal brings a diverse background to her clinical work, with experience as an adoption case manager, admissions director at a Montessori school, and a provider of trauma-informed care for adult survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI). Most recently, she worked as a school-based mental health therapist at the elementary level, supporting children with emotional and behavioral needs in the classroom setting.

In therapy, Krystal takes a relational and culturally informed approach, focusing on how human connection and social context influence emotional well-being. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based interventions, and person-centered techniques to support clients in building stronger relationships, improving self-awareness, and promoting healing and resilience.

Outside of the office, Krystal is a busy soccer mom to two boys and a Sheltie dog who keeps her on her toes. She is passionate about working collaboratively with clients and looks forward to supporting the children, adults, and families of The Child and Family Therapy Center of Macomb.
