Heather Lupu

Heather is the Client Support Coordinator at the Child & Family Therapy Center of Macomb and is often one of the first points of contact for individuals and families reaching out for services. She helps guide clients through the process of getting started with therapy, from answering initial questions and verifying insurance to matching clients with a therapist, scheduling, and navigating the client portal.

In addition to supporting clients and families, Heather works closely with the center’s therapists and administrative team to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. She assists with therapist onboarding, client communication, scheduling needs, insurance questions, and many of the behind-the-scenes details that help make the therapy process easier for everyone.

Heather understands that reaching out for therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when families are already navigating a difficult or stressful time. She strives to make the process feel as straightforward and welcoming as possible and enjoys helping clients find the therapist who best fits their individual needs.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with animals, and caring for her cats. She has always had a soft spot for animals and is happiest when there’s a cat nearby.
