Erika is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families. She earned her undergraduate degree from Saginaw Valley State University in 2017 and her graduate degree from Michigan State University in 2018. Erika has also worked as a school social worker, giving her valuable experience supporting children and adolescents within the school setting and collaborating with families and educational teams.

Erika works with clients ages 4 and up and has a special interest in supporting those experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, and difficulties with emotional regulation. She also enjoys working alongside parents, providing support and practical strategies to help them better understand and respond to their child’s needs.

Recognizing that every client connects and communicates differently, Erika incorporates creative and engaging approaches into therapy, including art, games, journaling, and mindfulness. She strives to make therapy a comfortable and welcoming experience where clients can express themselves in ways that feel natural to them.

Erika believes that trust and a strong therapeutic relationship are at the heart of meaningful progress. Through patience, compassion, and positive communication, she works to ensure children, adolescents, and parents feel heard, understood, and valued. Her goal is to meet each client where they are while helping them build the confidence, coping skills, and emotional tools needed to navigate life’s challenges.
