Diane Valitutti, LMSW

Diane is a graduate of Wayne State University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work. With over 25 years of experience in various settings, including both inpatient and outpatient environments, she has specialized as a school social worker for much of her career. Diane has worked with students of all ages, from young children to adolescents and teens. 

 

Her expertise includes assisting children with learning difficulties, emotional impairments, and autism, as well as providing support to teens and adults facing similar challenges. Passionate about teaching and empowering individuals of all ages, she focuses on helping others regulate their emotions through various coping strategies. Diane also offers social skills training and problem-solving skills, which all contribute to building self-confidence.

 

Recognizing the significance of forming strong connections, she is dedicated to providing undivided support and attention during times of need. Her approach is eclectic and tailored to each individual, incorporating client-centered, supportive, motivational, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to effectively meet the needs of each individual.

  • Diane's absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with her family and friends.

  • She loves to travel and spend time on her family boat every chance she gets.
