Ashlee Legeret-Owens, LMSW
Ashlee earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (2015) and Master’s degree in Social Work (2017) from Wayne State University. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of settings—including case management, substance use treatment, crisis intervention, and school social work—which has given her a deep appreciation for how complex and unique each person’s journey can be.
Ashlee's areas of expertise include ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, and supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and other special needs. She is passionate about helping clients build emotional regulation skills, improve social communication, and develop practical coping strategies that enhance their overall well-being.
In therapy, Ashlee uses a multifaceted and integrative approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, always guided by a client-centered and strength-based perspective. She also values the mind-body connection, recognizing that true healing involves both cognitive and somatic awareness.
Ashlee's goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change.
