Lauren Luna, LMSW
Lauren Luna is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a strong passion for supporting children, teens, adults, and families through emotional, developmental, and relationship challenges. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Albion College in 2010 and completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Texas–Arlington in 2014.
Lauren brings over a decade of experience in the field, including several years as a school social worker, where she works closely with students, parents, and school teams to support social-emotional learning, behavior management, and mental wellness. In her current role in an elementary school, she provides individual counseling, small group support, play-based therapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation for numerous challenges related to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, depression, anxiety, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, anger, bullying, self-esteem, and conflict resolution. Her experience allows her to bridge the gap between school-based services and family life, providing consistent, whole-child support and helping families better navigate the educational system.

As the mother of a neurodivergent child and wife of a firefighter, Lauren understands firsthand the unique stressors and demands that come with the emotional, logistical, and systemic hurdles families often face. Her personal experiences have guided her to create a warm, supportive, and empowering space where children and teens can grow—and where parents, caregivers, and spouses feel truly heard and understood. Lauren integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play-based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Art Therapy techniques to tailor each session to unique client goals and needs.
