Aimee Monticello

Aimee is a fully licensed clinical social worker, specializing in individual and family counseling. Aimee received her Bachelors from Michigan State University and Master’s of Social Work from Wayne State University in 2009. Aimee has spent her career working with adults, teens, and children in a variety of settings. She has worked in adult, pediatric, and perinatal hospice. She worked with children and their families with life limiting illnesses. Aimee has also spent the last few years working as an elementary school social worker. There her focus was to assist children in the special education setting working on behavioral concerns, social skills, and anxiety.

Her areas of focus include, but are not limited to: grief and loss, anticipatory grief, infertility, anxiety, behavioral concerns, and parent coaching. Aimee’s goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive and encouraging environment to meet clients’ individual needs. Her approach is Cognitive Behavioral, Strengths Based, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, and play-based.

  • I love being a mom and spending time with my 3 very active kiddos. 

  • I enjoy traveling to warm places with my family and friends to connect and relax. 

  • In the quiet moments, I enjoy reading, meditation, and working on my spiritual/self growth.
